Take a journey to a time past. Where fun and history meet. Where you can be whoever you want to be. Welcome to the Georgia Renaissance Festival!
In it’s 31st year, the Georgia Renaissance Festival is a personal family favorite. We have been for the last 5 years and don’t plan on stopping. The kids dress up and have their pick of shows and activities. While yes, some jokes can be more mature and there is lots of beer; we have never had an issue for it is truly a family friendly event.
The Georgia Renaissance Festival is held in a 32-acre English Village and guests truly step back in time to the 16th Century. You will find Castles, cottages, fairies, pirates, shops, and even rides (man-powered).
Each weekend features something different as to themes.
The Georgia festival is the largest Renaissance festival in the Southeast. There is truly something for adults and children of all ages to enjoy – all day long!
A crowd favorite is the Jousting Tournament. This year’s story is different from that of the past, but still has plenty of action. Horses, sword fights, and even blood! Yes, blood. I share this to give notice for those with little ones who may not know this is a show and not real.
